Instagram has been rolling out some amazingly useful new features and some of them are actually pretty cool.
Our Venionaire Growth Punk Peter explains six new instagram features. Some of them might be still in a test phase, but give it a try!
1. BROADCAST CHANNELS
Remember what we have been preaching & practicing? COMMUNITY. CONVERSATIONS. CONNECTIONS. And guess what? Instagram just admitted that Broadcast Chat Channels is the newest way for creators to deepen connections with followers. Creators can keep their followers informed quickly and informally via broadcast channels. Therefor they can use text, photos, videos, and voice notes to share updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses. They can even create polls to gather feedback from their fans. Followers can react to content and participate in polls, but only creators can send messages. Instagram will be introducing new features, including the ability to invite another creator to the channel to discuss collaborations and collect questions for an AMA.

2. SCHEDULE REELS
Reel scheduling seems to have a lot of glitches still but businesses and creators can now plan ahead by scheduling directly from Instagram & Meta Business Suite instead of using third-party apps.
Facts & Figures:
- You can schedule up to 25 posts a day.
- You can schedule content up to 75 days in advance.
3. INSTAGRAM APPOINTMENTS
Managing appointments via Instagram? Sounds maybe strange first, but this feature can actually be really interesting for businesses. Although not available to all users just yet, this will allow businesses to book and manage customer appointments directly on IG.
The tool provides a clever way to convert a conversation with a customer directly into an appointment. Customers thus get a brief, seamless booking exerience without switching to another app. With this in mind you can stay directly in touch with your customers before and after appointsments to prevent no-shows and encourage repeat bookings.
4. META VERIFIED
Meta Verified offers you proactive account protection, direct contact to account support and many other benefits after verification with an official proof of identity. Please keep in mind that features may vary by region.

5. SHARED STORY (COLLABS)
Shared Stories could for sure change the game for Story content big time.
This feature allows users to add on to, collab with, and reshare others’ Stories. You can now collab without the additional approval and create more engaging content!
6. NEW REELS FEATURES
Reels Trends:
See the top trending songs and hashtags on Reels, see how many times the audio has been used, tap in to use it or save the audio for yourself. You’ll also be able to see what the top trending topics and hashtags are on Reels to inform your own content.
Updates to Reels Insights:
Two new metrics – total watch time and average watch time – and making it easier to see your insights while viewing your reels directly.
Improving and Expanding Gifts:
Bringing gifts to even more creators with upcoming expansions to Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and the UK in the coming weeks and adding a new features to show you which fans have sent you a gift so you can see and recognize your supporters.
Reels Editing Redesign:
Redesigned Reels editing flow bringing together video clips, audio, sticker, and text, together on a unified editing screen. This redesigned flow makes it easier to align and time elements of your reel to the right moments in a more visual way.
