Growth/Later Stage Valuations
The three key areas where valuation becomes particularly important in later stages are:
Follow-on investment
In follow-on investments, existing or new investors provide additional capital to an already funded company to support its growth. Valuation is critical here as it determines how much equity is sold and at what price.
