Advancing private equity and scale-up transactions at Venionaire Capital
“The secondary investment market has more than tripled since 2009 and demand continues to grow. The starting point for successful secondary programs is always strong, heterogeneous networks of top-class partners. Venionaire Capital has the same networks and contacts: Our expert community includes over 250 specialists from a wide variety of industries and disciplines worldwide. With Victoria Woodland-Ferrari, we now have an associate partner at our headquarters in Vienna, who will bring her extensive professional experience with secondary transactions to future projects, and who also has a wide-ranging international network from her time in the European financial capital, London. “
said Berthold Baurek-Karlic, CEO and Founder of Venionaire Capital.
Market phase as particularly exciting and strategically promising
Venionaire Capital has been working successfully in the field of private equity and venture capital throughout Europe for over ten years, with offices in Vienna (HQ), Munsbach (LUX), London (UK), and Munich (DE), as well as office partnerships in New York (USA), San Francisco (USA) and Riyadh (SAU) Over the years, the company has ventured into larger and larger transactions – not least due to the portfolio scale-ups of its own funds – and will from now on also provide its services to companies and organizations that are outside of their own portfolios.
Venionaire Capital is known as a forward-thinking private equity and venture capital expert. As such, the venture capital specialist has identified the area of secondary market transactions, i.e. the buying out of existing investors (usually in connection with a capital increase) from more established growth companies, as particularly exciting and strategically promising in the current market phase.
More than ten years of experience in leading positions
Woodland-Ferrari has more than ten years of experience in senior positions in finance, investment banking and operations: most recently she was CFO and COO at London-based tech company Switchee and vice president of secondary private equity at Deutsche Bank and its spin-off Glendower Capital in London. There she managed funds worth up to 1.6 billion US dollars. She started her career as an M&A analyst at the financial services provider HSBC in London.
